In this session you’ll discover:
Imagine a massive explosion, a concussion of flames, concrete, and steel, hurling you across the asphalt on your back. You think my life is over! Then you stop sliding, only to hear two screams to RUNNN! But when you look, NO ONE IS THERE! You get five steps away from where you’re lying and then a massive chunk of concrete lands behind you, shattering your ankle and severing your Achilles tendon.
This happened to Greg Devlin on September 18, 1980, at about 6:30 p.m. when an airman conducting maintenance on the Titan II missile dropped a socket. It fell about eighty feet before hitting and piercing the skin on the rocket’s first-stage fuel tank, causing it to leak. Greg was sent in to try to secure the leak but his life changed that night.
The Titan II missile was capable of delivering a 9-megaton nuclear warhead to targets more than 6,300 miles away in about 30 minutes. The United States of America had 54 of these missiles armed and ready to launch in a moment’s notice.
I speak with Greg about:
The Titan II explosion and his personal story
Guardian angels
How to become positive and how to stay positive
Understanding why things happen for a reason
How to capitalize on your second chance in life
