Today Jake is talking again with David Vox of Goaly.com.
Jake first talked with David in episode #93 and his story and how Goaly.com began. Now David is back to continue his discussion about his life and his goals.
After working hard for three years, David found himself so exhausted that he needed a chance to get away and relax. He decided to go to a monastery for one month to recharge and figure out where to go from there. David thought he’d find an enlightened teacher who could help him really relax and find clarified truth in his life. Instead, David found a racist, homophobic person who had something bad to say about almost every group of people in the world. So David turned inward, searching for clarity on his own.
To his surprise, David found that clarity he had been looking for. His mind was at complete peace and he was happy and content with his life. He thought it would disappear soon, but that feeling remained and David began to examine it to figure out what it was and where it had come from. David found that when he tried to define himself by what other people wanted him to be he became limited. But when he pushed beyond that he was limitless and could become anything. “Freedom is literally a door that disappears the minute you start searching for it,” David tells us. Only when you let go of all the thoughts in your mind, do you enjoy the moment and find that freedom you’ve been looking for.
Listen in as David continues his story and talks about going beyond limits to the ultimate goal.
