Jake started by thanking you, his listeners and readers, for sharing his content and bringing so much traffic to his website, which, unfortunately caused the OSR website to be down for a few days. Jake also appreciates the videos of your kids screaming: “I am freaking awesome” that you sent to him. Your children are designed to scream all sort of crazy things, but, really, the secret sauce is for you, the grown ups.
Jake has four questions for you to answer. Ideally, you should grab a pen and a piece of paper and write down the answers to these questions. Just go with you gut reaction. Here are the questions?
Jake shares the story of the skillfull Mexican fisherman who always catches gigantic tuna fish. This guy is once hired by a wealthy banker who wants the fisherman to teach his family how to fish tuna. Impressed by the fisherman’s craft and productivity – this guy knew all the spots to catch the big fishes, the banker advises the fisherman to take his skill to a new level and create a business around his skill. He also offers to help the Mexican make millions of dollars through selling his tuna so that the Mexican can have more time to do the things he enjoys. But, it turns out that the fisherman was already doing the thing that he enjoyed the most: fishing. In that moment, both the banker and the fisherman where doing what they loved and not bashing one another for taking so different paths towards satisfaction!
Time to ask the four questions above, if you have not done so yet!
