This week Jake is answering your questions.
Life is hard. One of the most important things we need to learn in life is that we can get through it better if we don’t try to do it on our own. Jake learned the importance of teamwork through his work at the fire department, and he hopes to spread this message to all of you as well. All of us are a team and we need to help each other.
With that in mind, Jake is answering three questions from readers on the podcast today. We can use each other to get through the hard times in our lives and work our way toward change. So what is that first step to change? Find someone else who has been through that change and find what they’ve done to get there. Use that to encourage and help yourself on your own journey. You can reach your goals if you connect with the people around you by getting to know them. We are all salespeople—every day we sell our personalities, our productivity, our ideas. But don’t always focus on selling you, focus on learning more about the people you come in contact with. Take the focus off yourself or whatever you’re selling for a moment and you can build better connections through repoire.

I can’t believe that no one has commented before me. My goodness! I have been listening to your podcasts now for months. I haven’t had the time, nor the skill to find this website before now. I’ve tried following links, and such.. but didn’t make it to a place where I thought that I could comment. I’d like you to know that I am getting tons of value from your podcasts. I wish that I had the time to listen to them more than once. Thank you for giving us this resource, and providing such great content. I’m looking forwards to your next podcast.
