Operation Self Reset Episode 68: Not Just Paleo, True Health & Happiness With Evan Brand

In this episode, Jake is talking with paleo expert Evan Brand.

During college, Evan started struggling with depression and his health. He found himself struggling to get out of bed each day and was not happy with his life. He began to learn about the connection between the things he was eating and his health.

Paleo eating means that you can eat good quality, whole foods and stay full longer, without the big spikes and dips in your blood sugar throughout the day that our typical American diets produce. Once Evan switched to a paleo diet, his life, body, and energy completely changed.

Our energy levels and brain activity don’t depend just on what we eat. What we do in our daily lives also affects how our body works. We’re a nation that is addicted to our cellphones, tablets, and laptops, and using them at night is affecting our sleep. Evan gives some tips on today’s episode about how to improve our sleep, which will in turn improve our energy and brain activity.
