Conclusion: William James Sidis Has The Highest IQ In The World With A 250-300 Estimated Score

The list of the people with the highest IQ is not static. It will continuously update as new child prodigies enter the arena.

Based on what we have seen so far, the following are the top three most intelligent persons in history:

  • William James Sidis (250-300 IQ score)
  • Terence Tao (230-240 IQ score)
  • Marilyn vos Savant (228 IQ score)

There is a note of caution.

A high IQ is not an indicator of academic or professional excellence. In fact, Richard Loeb and Nathan Leopold had IQ results of 169 and 210, respectively.

Intelligence is undoubtedly essential, but rational thinking skills such as intuition and decision-making are equally important.
