Operation Self Reset Episode 72: Reset Your Goals in 2015

In this episode, Jake is talking about resetting your goals.

Why are we talking about goals in February? Didn’t we all make our goals at the end of December or beginning of January? Yes, we probably did, but if you’re like most people, those goals are long gone. So now it’s time to get moving on resetting those goals or creating new ones that you’ll actually stick to.

Goals can be anything—a personal goal, a health goal, financial, emotional, and more. Goals can help us pursue and reach the things we want most in life. But why don’t we set goals in the first place? Fear can be a huge obstacle that keeps us from setting goals. But if you could succeed and make yourself happier than you’ve ever been before, why are you letting fear of what might happen stop you?

We can move past our fear, as Jake encourages us to do in this episode. Ask yourself a few questions to help you move past that fear and move forward in achieving your goals. Then use Jake’s advice to determine what your one big goal is and how you can start moving toward it.

Here’s what Jake talked about in this episode:

  • Why don’t we set goals?
  • Questions to ask your fear
  • Choose your one big goal
  • How to move toward your goals
