Operation Self Reset Episode 74: Find Your Perfect Coach with Marc Mawhinney

In this episode, Jake is talking with Marc Mawhinney of the podcast Natural Born Coaches.

If you’re like most people, you think you don’t need a coach. Why should you spend money to have someone tell you what to do in your life? Marc Mawhinney is here today to explain why you might very well need a coach and how one can help you in your life.

Marc has had a lot of ups and downs in his life. At one point, he had success in the real estate business running a company that was doing very well. Then the company closed down after growing too big too quickly and Marc found himself needing to find new direction in his life. It was while speaking with someone else who had been through a similar situation that made Marc realize that this wasn’t a dead end to his professional life and he just needed to find what really drove him.

Marc has always had a passion for personal development. Even while working in real estate, he was mentoring and coaching other people when he could. That passion has led him into working as a coach as well as hosting a podcast which helps people discover why they might need a coach in their lives.

Here’s what Jake and Marc talked about in this episode:

  • Pushing yourself to the next level
  • Shift your priorities to find more time in your day
  • Types of coaches available
  • Why you might need a coach in your life
