Routines are an excitement killer and this is especially true in relationships and in our careers. Analyze what you do on a daily basis that does not excite you! It might be your job. And then ask yourself what you could change in that routine that could make it more exciting.
It might be as simple as changing your approach to that routine, aka your attitude towards it and your focus! For instance, if you do not like your job, maybe you could change the routine you have on the way to your job. You could rock out on your favourite music and imagine you are at the concerct of your favorite band! And imagine rolling into work as you would into that concert!
You could make smaller changes like rotating the plates on the dinner table, or the furniture in the livingroom. This trick works great with rotating toys for small kids.
If you feel you can not do certain things, it’s not that you suck. Your routine sucks and you need to change it.
No matter how unbelievable it sounds, each part of our body is connected to some other part and its functioning affects other functions. So it is in life, each area of our life affects at least another area of our lives. And the majority of people choose to compensate what is not working in a particular area of their life with inappropriate things like alcohol, drugs, watching garbage on TV.
Instead, they should try to tweak and crack that particular area of their life that is responsible for things not going well!
