Reignite your morning routine during summer

This episode was recorded on a beautiful day on May 29th right at the beginning of summer with very practical advice on how to practice discipline by setting up a morning routine.  Following the example of very successful business people, setting up a morning or evening routine will bring immediate benefits into your life and will help you dominate the day.  

Here’s what’s been covered in a nutshell:

In order for you to take control of the morning routine your need to have in mind the following steps that will enrich your life and help you become more productive, here they are:

  1. Guard your time – If you don’t have a routine you need to have one.  Your routine should reach out to your: mind by reading or journaling; body through movement and feeding; soul through meditation.  Once you establish your morning and evening routine, you will be able to count your benefits.  
  2. Mini discipline goals – set up some limits with regards to your nutrition.  Take control of what you are doing by making smart decisions.   Make decisions that are healthy for your mind and body.   Having weak discipline muscles shows that you are not practicing discipline in your life.  The more you exercise your discipline muscle the more you will be in control of what you’re doing.   This can apply to the sugar intake you choose to have on a daily basis, or to the amount of time you choose to spend on the internet or TV as well.
  3. Change it up.  You need to do something that you really enjoy in the morning.  Identify the things that get you excited and that you can use to help you implement a morning routine.
  4. Share what you do to reinforce what you need to do.  Once you start telling people what you are doing, you encourage yourself to stay faithful to your goals and be an encouragement to others at the same time.
