In this episode of the Operation Self Reset podcast, Jake is talking with Chad Grills, an Army Infantry veteran, entrepreneur, and author.
Chad is the author of the book Veterans: Rebuild America. Chad joined the military in 2006 after looking for more of a challenge than he was getting in college. He joined the Army and then went to Infantry school in Ft. Benning, Georgia. He then had the choice of either joining ROTC and going to college or deploying to Iraq. He chose to deploy to Iraq, which he credits with completely changing his life.
Chad believes we all have a pull toward adventure and creativity, but that it’s easy to let it be drowned out by daily life and other commitments. It’s easy to think we’re not good enough to do all of the things we’ve dreamed of doing, but we need to find a way to push past those fears and take charge of the life we want. Chad talks about how he reached for his own dreams and gives his tips for success.
